BIO: We're three guys trying to have a little fun in our own way, through the art of music. We're a power trio with Guitar, Stand Up Bass, Drums, and Vocals... doing our own style of CowPunkPsychobilly. The Elixirs are quickly gaining a big following throughout the Mid-West for our high energy live shows. Don't expect to hear any covers, The Elixirs write and perform thier own brand of original American Rock and Roll music. We are based out of Gas City in Grant County Indiana, Region 3, and the birthplace of "cool," if that means anything to ya. We've been known to play birthday bashes, backyard BBQ's, dirty ole dive bars, biker wedding parties, charity events, you name it... We will Rock It! More info? Look us up on Reverbnation!

"Dan Tedder (vocals/guitars), Andrew "Whitt" Whitton (Upright Bass), and of course, Joe King (Drums) will take you on a joy ride that is Faster than Hell and you will wonder why your hair is a mess and your glass is empty and how the hour got stolen by the devil without you even noticing. It’s a really good time and you’ll want seconds and even thirds. "
- Sabrina Turner Perdieu, The Back Stage Pass (Feb 01, 2012)

"The Elixirs are a great cow/punk band from Indiana. They really do put on a great live show. Though they only have a few demo recordings they do have plans for an official release in the future. They have also played a lot of great local shows and all over the state...."

Long Gone CD
I downloaded the Elixirs debut album Long Gone a few days ago, and I listened to it once on my computer after the download and at least three times on my I-Pod at work the next day… Then I listened to it again yesterday at work for my whole twelve hour shift, and I can honestly say that the Elixirs are now one of my favorite bands. The whole album is good, every song and I would recommend it to anyone who likes cow punk or psychobilly and maybe grew up listening to country and wants music with a sharper edge and actually says something besides the same old psychobilly dead girl-ghoul friend zombies and isn’t a bunch of covers of everything just to make a psychobilly or punk version of some old song.

It’s all new and original and it is good… buy it and enjoy!

I haven't quite decided what song on the album is my favorite, they are all good.
