Album Notes

Out of the snows of Syracuse, New York Mick Fury rose to form The Fury. Raw, rough, and rowdy, this outifit’s sound has been known to knock girls’ clothes off.

Rebellious

Go against the norm. Blaze your own path. Look life in the face and yell, “Fuck you.” Somebody’s gotta do it, and right now it’s The Fury. While G-funk was breaking symbols in Syracuse, Mick burned his way out to Hollywood. There he played with the likes of The Fresh and other mad-minded rockers, filling bars like “The Joint” and “The Rainbow Room” as the Mick Fury Band. After 2 years of lonesome nights with his guitar, edgy songwriting, muggings by crazy homeless ladies and alcoholic blackouts, Mick had drank down and pissed out all LA had to offer. He slowly ground out the miles back to the 'Cuse, hungry for a fresh start.

Rock

Put your mouth on the tap and drink some beer. Stay out all night and yell and scream and make out. That passion for life, that passion for art, that’s what fuels The Fury. When Mick got back New York, G-funk was ready to roll. Within a few months they were SAMMY nominated (Syracuse Area Grammy) for best rock album of the year for their EP “Ain’t My Fate.” Their NeoClassic Rock n’Roll was turning some heads and dropping some pants.

Reborn

People still want to feel, they still want to care. Nobody cares as much as The Fury does about getting chicks to dance on their strip pole when they play live. Nobody cares as much about making music that moves people, music that forces emotions to come spewing out while they play. You can’t watch The Fury and not feel something, because if you don’t Mick will come into the audience and grab you around the throat until you do. Better yet, pop in their new full length album “She Rocked Me” and you’ll feel him erupt about how SHE wasn’t his Fate, that dirty Sunset Stripper. Love still has the power to inspire, and that inspiration drives The Fury to say that “She Rocked Me” sounds like, “Two Girls Having Sex on a Rocket.” Agreed.
