BAND BIO
Jon Brier, John Skelton and Mike Toschi formed The Help in 1995 in Portland, OR. The band was created as an outlet for three like-minded people who shared a passion for music and working for social justice.

The Help played two years of benefit concerts and all ages shows with musicians ranging from Pete Krebs to the Murder City Devils. In 1996, Toschi formed the Global Seepej Record label and released The Help's well received album "Justice, Impunity, Foodstuffs and so forth..."

After the completion of a West Coast tour, Jon Brier and John Skelton decided to do some extended traveling and working in Chiapas, Mexico and Guatemala. Mike began to channel his musical energy into working on a solo album and experimenting with other musicians and writing songs for projects that would follow (At the Spine, a solo album, Bit Part, The Plains, etc.).
