ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
With "The Honeymoon Stallions", Andy Goldberg continues to produce a brand of feel good Rock/Pop that is instantly accessible. Representing an evolution from his prior outings with "The Goldbergs" & "The Sun Kings", this set of songs will leave you wanting more.

"The majority of these songs were recorded just outside of Nashville at Paul Umbach's studio. For the basic tracks we recruited some transplanted locals to create a band vibe and add some new textures. After recording in a new location, with new players and new sounds, I felt a name change was in order. Out of these ashes 'The Honeymoon Stallions' were born."

- Andy G.

ANDY IS BACK WITH MORE CLASSIC POWER POP!
Well, here it is August of 2012 and the album of the year has just been released. The Honeymoon
Stallions "Moonlighting" is power pop genius Andy Goldberg's latest project and it continues
where "Hooks, Lines & Sinkers" and "Under The Radar" left off . Andy comes up with the strongest hooks since "Rubber Soul" and every song sounds fresh and vital. Music this great
is a rarity nowadays. Most everything you hear now is horrible crap inspired by American Idol
and done by so called "singers" who couldn't sing their way out of a paper bag. Andy comes to the rescue of today's "music" much like the Beatles saved Pepperland from the Blue Meanies with his amazing knack for writing unforgettable melodies and hooks backed by steller guitar work. The songs have that classic sound of the Beatles and Badfinger and Raspberries but they aren't re-writes of anything those bands did. Andy isn't copying songs from the past
but is instead creating a unique catalog of tunes that easily stand up to anything that has
come before them. This isn't just another new release but an event that should be heard
by everyone who appreciates real music. Thank you Andy!
