ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is The Island Castaways Band first CD release. Dedicated to the all Tropical Rock fans out there who grew up listening to Jimmy Buffett and other song writers with a Caribbean soul. Based in New England the band has performed to thousands of fans throughout the east coast. The band's motto is "Life Life to the Fullest" which can be heard on the track Different Song. The title track Lost n Loving It features some great vocals, and a Alto Sax solo by Amy Lee formerly of the Coral Reefer Band. High Pond tells a story of what is what to grow up on a beautiful pond in Massachusetts with many friends during the seventies. One of These Days features both a vocal and straight instrumental track that makes you want to head straight to a sailboat. Tonga Juice is a song about a concoction the band experienced (especially Paul) at a concert in Vermont! So get your drink ready, shorts and sandals on, and play Lost N Loving It.
