ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Loud, Melodic, Raw, Passionate, Sincere, and obviously Joyful, are all words you could use to describe The Joy Brigade.
Formed in 2001 the band consists of ex Split Level frontman Adrian Thompson on vocals and guitar, recording engineer and producer Trevor Michael on guitar and backing vocals, and well known UK session musicians Mark Prentice on bass and Paul Evans on drums.
The tracks from the 'Counting Days' EP were recorded totally live, to 2 inch tape by Dave Lynch at ICC Studios in Eastbourne late one night in 2002, and remained unreleased until now. There are no overdubs or fixes, just the sound of a rock band playing music in a room together. They played a handful of shows over that year in the UK, Germany and Sweden, and then disappeared.

Where are they now you ask ? Watch out. Anything could happen....
