We are reminded each day of the miracles in our lives. As the song says it can be something as simple as a smile or watching a little child at play. Here, in Ringgold County, Iowa, we are expecting a miracle of our own. Our community pool in Mount Ayr is on its last legs. A plan is in place to build a new aquatic center. However, the local governments do not have the needed funds ($2,000,000) and grants are scarce (although a grant to build the shower house has been obtained).
This is where YOU come in and where YOU can help bring about a miracle where we will be able to see, not just one little child at play, but an entire community of children. YOU can download this song for only $1 (one dollar) with all of the net proceeds going toward the aquatic center. Then send this message to all your friends on your social networks and emails asking them to do the same. It is the power of one (YOU) multiplied by 1000’s.

I wrote the song after a classmate from 30 years ago told me how he always was glad to see that I was riding the bus when we were in high school because no one picked on him when I was there and that I always sat and talked with him. I had never been aware of any of this but it got me thinking about how sometimes what seems like the smallest thing can really make a big difference in someone's day or even his or her life. I went home and penned this song. We've used it our music ministry and in the opening and closing of a radio show we did in Tennessee. Each of us has the opportunity each day to be a miracle for someone.
I Believe In Miracles
I believe in miracles
They happen everyday
A smile upon a face
A little child at play
A gentle hand to help someone
Who’s stumbled along the way
I believe in miracles
They happen everyday
When I wake up in the morning
I know that it’s true
The Lord will be with me
In everything I do
He’ll be there to guide me
Through good time and through strife
Sharing the miracle of living
The miracle of life
I believe in miracles
They happen everyday
A smile upon a face
A little child at play
A gentle hand to help someone
Who’s stumbled along the way
I believe in miracles
They happen everyday
Yes, I believe in miracles
They happen everyday
