Album Notes

The Lashing Dogs is a musical group from the Virgin Islands (British) that plays Fungi Music, a style of music played mostly with traditional instruments. In the old days, fungi music was played on non-amplified instruments that were all locally created from whatever materials were available. The band has been together for over 20 years and has performed in Europe, several US states and across the Caribbean. The band is well-known for producing "music to make you move" but also often provide social commentary, amusing songs and songs that "make you think".

Lincoln Hedrington: banjo/ukelele
Varrisse Hodge: squash
George Lewis: bass, lead & backing vocals
Ottley Rhymer: conga drum, backing vocals
Ariel Smith: guitar, backing vocals
Elton Smith: banjo
Kayron Todman: banjo, percussion

"A Fun-Filled Fungi Night" is the group's sixth album and has a little something for everyone. We hope you enjoy the 11 tracks which provide a mix of dance, social commentary and fun music.
