This project is getting more and more special. Iman Spaargaren on saxophones, Guillermo Celano on guitar, Jurian Bakker on drums and me (Andreas Metzler on bass) know each other from our time at the conservatory in Amsterdam. We all play in many different bands and projects and share a LOVE for Monk's music. Since some time we have been experimenting with Monks' compositions and played them in different cafes and festivals. www.jazzamsterdam.org
