Album Notes

"The Moment" consists of four musicians from the triangle area of North Carolina. Each member brings a different musical talent to the group. Rodger, who sings lead vocals and plays percussion, has a solid background in rock-n-roll from the 70's to the present. Susan, who shares the lead vocals responsibility, throws her blues, soul, and pop talents into the mix. Buddy combines the extremes of heavy metal and classical interest into his skillful guitar work. And lastly, Ben brings a folk influence with a contrasting, yet complimenting guitar style to finish the sound.

The group has been writing songs for approximately one year. All their songs are a collaborative effort. They went into the studio in July of 2000 and recorded their CD titled "Recovery." The CD consists of eleven songs that range from contemplative and soulful to upbeat and inspiring. The instrumentation is simple in number but complex in sound. Two guitars, multiple-harmonies, and various percussion pieces create a unique and rich texture.
