ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Once living in veritable poverty on the southside, jamming on second-hand pawn-shop instruments, barely nourished on a diet of Ramen noodles, Camel cigarettes, Busch beer, and (insert random illicit substance here), Chicago’s The Moses Gun, guitarist/vocalist Vell Mullens and bassist, Rich Harris, release their self-titled affair containing 11 time-tested odes to romantic disillusionment, 70’s tv existentialism and various addictions. A multicultural band that grew up listening to Todd Rundgren’s Utopia, Wu Tang, and Husker Du…. sort of like an African-American Pixies, or QOTSA.
