Album Notes

The Neil Nelson Band was formed in 2007 with musical veterans such as Don Cunningham on bass, Rico Wiesman on lead guitar, Lawson Hill on drums and Bart Barbour on pedal steel guitar. Neil started song writing and live appearances in the early eighties with performances on live radio shows and festivals through out the Northwest. In 1992 he relocated to Boise Idaho and continued his songwriting efforts. In 2005 Neil released his first CD Double Shot Of Whiskey. In about 2006 Neil recorded a six song demo for a Nashville visit. The musicians and Neil were so inspired with the chemistry that the recordings created, that the NNB was soon formed and its first CD It Ain't Over Yet was released. With songs on television shows such as Supernatural and Warehouse 13 the NNB continues to record and perform with its second CD Just A Minute AGO released July 14th 2011.
