ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The OddFellows are Christoph Truemper and Timm Palmersheim, hailing from Cedar Rapids, Iowa with two acoustic guitars and two voices live, and a loft full of instruments when recording. A little folk, a little rock, a slight echo of country, we hear the hum of an American-made motor over sun-baked gravel roads in our music, no matter what genre you want to put it in. You know that feeling you get sitting around with friends telling stories, or flying down the highway with the wind in your face, or looking up at the moon on a warm summer night feeling small? That's what inspires our music. We dig deep earth, we light good fires, we love hard and feel it when it breaks, we can fix a flat in a rainstorm at night with a smile, as long as there's someone warm and dry waiting for us in the car with half a pack of smokes, a map, and a place to go. Folk, Rock, Country, Singer-Songwriter, Crooked, Straight, Lost, Found. Like most good people on this Earth, we fall somewhere in between, and that feels right as rain. We are The OddFellows.
