Wonderful Jewish Folk Music

This has been a favorite since it was first released, back in 1959. Bikel sings Yiddish with fervor and with an actor's ability to bring out the meaning in the songs, even for those of us who do not speak Yiddish. I do wish the CD came with the lyrics (as the original did), but that's a minor carp. It's a terrific album.
