"of the Night I am" is a collection of songs written and arranged by Theo SoulChicken Brown. Born in Los Angeles, California, raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota; Theo group up playing piano and Afro-cuban percussion instruments. Theo studied classical voice at Xavier Univeristy of Louisiana, during his years in New Orleans, he began writing songs with Afro-cuban, neo-soul and rock influences. The title of Theo's first album "of the Night I am" is the title of a poem that will be released in Theo's up coming poetry book titled "Letters of Words." The interlude tracks between each song on "of the Night I am" are traditional Afro-cuban rhythms played by Theo and his father.
