Hailing from Ireland, Scotland, Cape Breton and Vancouver, its five members are united by a love of traditional music and a commitment to creating new music on its foundation. The Outside Track line up comprises Mairi Rankin (the Rankins, Beolach - fiddle, vocals, stepdance) Norah Rendell (Canadian Traditional Singer if the Year nominee - vocals, flute, whistle), Ailie Robertson (Live Ireland Winner, BBC Young Trad Finalist - harp), Fiona Black (BBC Fame Academy Winner - accordion), and Cillian O'Dalaigh (Trazz, guitar, vocals, stepdance).
