Album Notes

In late 2000 THERE went back into the studio to work on their next full length album THERE III. Released in June of 2001, THERE III was a climax of THEREs sound. The rock explodes in your face from the intro to Average Man, through the melodic Zeppelin-esq Kiss My Eyes, to the heart-ripping acceleration and adrenaline rush that is Motorchild.

"As always THERE is as completely at ease cranking out their riff-roaring sound in the studio as they are on stage" - The Boston Globe The spooky yet eloquent verses in Shiverneck are offset by the bombastic chorus-riffs that follow. Their powerhouse version of Deep Purple's Into The Fire doesn't even leave you missing anything from the original. Almost every track off the album became permanent additions to their live shows.

THERE continued their usual schedule of live performances during the summer of 2001, then took off again on their second independent U.S. tour. They returned home a the end of September to play back-to-back nights at the Coolidge Corner Theater to a warm welcome from their fans.
