Album Notes
If you have ever been in Phoenix, Arizona long enough then there is a good chance that you heard of “The Rep”. This artist, also known as Brandon Kagel, is a native to the fastest growing city in the US. He was born into a Jewish family as a triplet with two sisters and an older brother. Although, he did make the news for his miraculous entrance he is better known for his ability to create music and touch lives.
Since the release of his first project in 2001, titled Street Prophecy, “The Rep” toured across the U.S. and appeared on T.B.N. on numerous occasions. Not only has he raised the ears of the Gospel industry, but he has also captivated the minds of the secular alike. “Proof”, a former member of Eminem’s “D12", contacted “The Rep” in interest of his music prior to his unfortunate murder on April 11, 2006. In March of 2009, “The Rep” released his second album, Say No More, with an overwhelming response from the streets. His lyrical storytelling ability infused with clever “word play” often puts his listeners in a “Did he just say that” stupor. “The Rep” is quickly becoming one of the most sought after rappers rising out of Phoenix, Arizona!

The Rep is currently unsigned. However, he has recently partnered with “The Whosoevers” (, a movement lead by lead singer Sonny Sandoval of the multi platinum band, “P.O.D.” Brian “Head” Welch (formerly the bass guitarist of the multi platinum band “Korn”), Ronnie Faisst of X Games’ Metal Mulisha, Lacey of the platinum band “Flyleaf” and Ryan Riess of Exit Concerts. With a USA tour underway and another album on the horizon.... THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
“This is an album that will be a classic, with no consideration needed to be made.” (Album review)
