Album Notes

`The Resistors` started in 2006/7 when Karl and Ed began writing and recording the project in their studio in west London .It didnt take long for them to recruit friends Geoff and Seb to take it live .
Prior to `The Resistors` Ed and Karl were members of the band `Elviss` so it was a natural progression for them to continue working together.

Elviss formed in 2002 and did several uk tours headlining and supporting bands such as U.S. acts `Stonesour`, `The Murderdolls`, `The Vandals`, `Pitchshifter` `Feeder` and the list goes on...and headlining `Kerrang`s` uk tour, gaining notoriety for being a great explosive live act as well as being picked as being `BBC Radio 1`s record of the week`. Elviss was signed to E.M.A.P. in the u.k. and Colombia records in Japan .

When the band split in 2005 Ed and Karl continued working together and other band members went their own ways and `elviss` bass player Drew joined `Babyshambles` . Geoff (bass) was already a friend of Ed and Karl and was a respected bassist/guitarist and Seb had worked with Ed one time on a session and became an obvious choice for drums with his savage explosive Keith Moon style .

`The Resistors` have been playing shows in and around London recently playing with U.S. bands Le Gar and Jubilee.

Karl - Vocals
Ed - Guitar
