Album Notes

This is my third CD and it’s a little more pop than the other two. There are three songs on it that were written for weddings: "We Got Up And Danced" is the song that I wrote for my wife's, Barbara, and my wedding. "Shelter From The Storm" is a song that I wrote for my niece's wedding. And “Common Ground” was written for my nephew’s wedding. There’s some political subject matter in "Take Our Country Back" and “The Age of Arrogance” expressing how politics and politicians have distorted our values. The only songs about death are “Long Black Veil,” a traditional Scottish ballad, and “Who’ll Carry My Coffin.” The rest are just nice love songs. I hope you enjoy them.
