The Rudie Crew are back with a brand new batch! They've even coined a term with this 3rd release (second for Megalith Records)..."Skragga", the combination of SKA and RAGGA = SKRAGGA! You'll have to hear it to get it. The band has come a long way since their inception. With the various line up changes since RIDE, the band is now tighter and more solid than ever. With a new approach and more focused delivery, The Rudie Crew are making their presence known back in the scene. With Mr. MC Radics taking the lead reigns on the mic and the band as a whole, contributing to the overall sound and vocal duties, their sound has become bigger and brighter with an overall lively feel. Lyrics are more conscience and melodies are more catchy.
We are also treated with a nice array of guest musicians. P-Dub of Predator Dub Assassins, joins the Crew on some vocal treats as well as writing duties. Brett Tubin helps round out the overall sound on keys and engineering duties, and we are graced with some bonus remix/dub tracks, including a cut by Crazy Baldhead Sound System! With 17 total tracks, the band is really showcasing their skills and commitment to bring you the best this New York group can offer!
