ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In the last six years, THE SCARRED has made a name for themselves as one of the hardest working bands in the underground punk scene today. Their blitzkrieg, energetic live show has made it's way across the country over twenty times since the band formed in 2003. At it's inception, The Scarred's first demos made waves in DIY zines across the country. This was quickly followed by touring in the old burnt out van, playing everywhere from garages, basements, bars, even an abandoned trailer, and an elevator lobby to some of the best stages in the most rockin' clubs in America. They quickly gained a reputation across the U.S. as being one of the few bands who can just be "One of the gang". Hanging out with local bands and local kids across the country, getting to know them, and also a good reputation for promoters for putting on a great show on a stage of any size, from the smallest to the largest, including a 2006 sold out summer tour with former label-mates Cheap Sex.

Following the release of No Solution on the now defunct Punk Core Records, The Scarred found themselves without a label. Basement Records quickly stepped in and became good friends with Justin & Isha and began talking about releasing a new record. After the initial chat they quickly started work on their upcoming full length "At Half Mast". The band picks up where they left off with catchy melodic guitar driven songs, in the vein of their earlier West Coast counterparts Bad Religion, Adolescents & Agent Orange. Make no mistake about it The Scarred continue to be one of the hardest working bands going today.
