Laced with catchy melodies and clever lyrics, The Shoreline\'s debut album \'Out of Nowhere\', recorded by Daryl Phenegar (Gold Album producer for The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus), delivers an exciting, pulse-pounding rush of pop rock. It reflects a strong and mature band, even though they have only been together for mere months!
Set to Release in September 2008 independently, the album features the tracks \"Give it up to us,\" and the all too catchy ballad \"Listen\". There are bright and catchy melodies abound, but songs like \"Wave and Sea\" and \"Can you feel?\" also feature razor-sharp rhythms and ultra-clean transitions. The production is crystal clear, which accentuates the band’s simple writing style and memorable lyrics. These guys appear to be able to write ready-made singles at the drop of a pin, as evidenced by \"Caroline.\" In fact, there is a rather shocking maturity to their material that contradicts the band members\' ages (all in their 20s). While they sometimes veer into cringe-worthy power-ballad territory, overall The Shoreline gives people what they want with \'Out of Nowhere.\'
Lead singer Jose Solorzano has big-time vocal depth and genuine charisma, and while his singing can sound grungy at some points, he delivers with such conviction that it’s easy to forgive. The Shoreline boasts the appeal of a pop rock blast developed out of savvy songwriting and musicianship, they play with a sincerity that will melt the heart of almost any listener. With their well-crafted anthems sounding more along the lines of Paramore at their roughest or a polished Jimmy Eat World, The Shoreline exemplifies all that is modern radio rock.

So Awesome It\'ll bring tears to your eyes

So... I figured it out, if Blink-182, The Starting Line, Jimmy Eat World, Fallout Boy, And the Matches all had children that we\'re genusis, it would come out being The Shoreline. This cd is so sick, besides \"Caroline\" and \"Can You Feel\", amazing songs as it is, but you gotta figure that all of the songs on this album are breathtaking. This is the new face of punk, and so far i\'m liking it. Even though i am a classic, MxPx, blink, starting line, alkaline trio, lover, i am digging the shoreline. Enjoy it, and just wait for more shit to come out of these modern day musical masterminds. Lastly, I\'d love to see them win new artist of the year on MTV, just to show the world that good music can come purevolume, and of course punk-rockers in their mid twenties. Nice. Buy this cd after your next breath.
