From bluegrass to folk to blues the Stagehands enjoy an integration of melody with unque instrumentation to discover the character of sound that best describes them as friends and family. We hope that the love, the sweat and sometimes the tears that have driven us have been enough to touch you with what has inspired us for so long.
The Stagehands music is driven may many musical instruments. Michelle Yoder, a concert band instructor, plays bass, harmonica, banjo, clarinet and saxophone. Her sons, Chris, Adam and Isaac play guitar/bass, mandolin/fiddle, and fiddle/bugle respectively. Family friend Bruce Johnson, sometimes known as "uncle Bruce" plays dobro, guitar and bass. We all sing making every song a bit different.
We enjoy putting our own spin on all types of music including Irish, folk, bluegrass, blues from artist like Jimmy Driftwood, Bob Dillon, John Mayer, The Memphis Jug band and many others.
