Album Notes

The Sundowners are really nice people making super-cool, far-out, rockin\', rollin\', sweet and sexy music.

They are all Southern California natives hailing from the San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles County.

They thrive on-stage and in the studio as can be seen from their exuberant live performances and their epic first album, the double-disc mega-work \"Songs From The Big Green Bubble.\"

Recorded betweewn July 2007 and March 2008, this album was a labour of love demanding hours of blood, sweat, tears and beers.

It was recorded entirely on a Fostex VF160EX by Dennis Stahl, lead vocalist, guitarist, and producer.

Michael Austin Harpel plays bass, keys and sings background vocals.

Lydee Walsh plays percussion, melodica, ukulele and also sings background vocals.

Mark Ferris plays drums and percussion.

The Sundowners have been playing together for over 3 years, developing a water-tight bond cemented together by friendship, love, experience, and collective consciousness.

Each member has been making music for decades and bring together influences ranging from psychedelia to prog-rock to blues to garage rock to new wave to pop to punk to freakin\' the \'f\' out.
