Album Notes

Music for kids that parents will love! Porcupine Parade is an eclectic fourteen song collection of original songs written by The Sunflowers' Michael Taylor with vocals by Terri Taylor. The Sunflowers music is a unique blend of '60s pop, bluegrass and folk, and on Porcupine Parade they add dixieland, zydeco, jazz and a Caribbean flavor to the mix.

Porcupine Parade features bandmates Jon Walmsley and Brad Swanson, along with legendary bluegrass/country/folk musicians Bill Bryson (The Dillards, The Desert Rose Band, Emmylou Harris, Dan Fogelberg), Jay Dee Maness (Gram Parsons, The Desert Rose Band, Buck Owens, Vince Gill), and Herb Pedersen (The Dillards, The Desert Rose Band, Linda Ronstadt, John Denver). Also joining the fun are great studio musicians John Goux (Randy Newman, Toy Story, Dolly Parton), Eric Silver (Black Hawk, Shania Twain) and Doug Legacy (Bonnie Raitt, Oingo Boingo), and a horn section made up of some of Disneyland's finest players.
