Album Notes

The Waking was formed in early 2004 when drummer John Kronenberger recruited guitarist Kurt Preus to fill in for a couple shows for his falling-apart band. After the shows were complete they just never stopped jammin. It took some time to complete and solidify the rest of the line-up. The first demo was engineered and recorded by Louis Svitek (Ministry, M.O.D.).



The Waking are featured on a internationally distributed paintball DVD ( episode 42) through Traumahead Sportz, which can be viewed at traumaheadsportz.com and have also been featured on a DVD release by DERDER (www.derder.com).



The Waking have recieved many great reviews and work hard to create the best music they are capable of. With many dynamics attributing to their writing style there are few boundaries. "All bands say they are the best live band around, we just try to have a good time and assure that everyone who comes out to see us also has a good time. Hopefully the word spreads and more people come out to our shows. No matter what we`re havin fun. We spend too much money on alcohol not to!"
