Album Notes

THE WEB is a Sydney-based collective of electronic musicians, dancers and artists, including both Indigineous and non-indigenous musicians and dancers.

Inspired by natural tribal rhythms and organic samples, , sounds of The Web include everything from Breakbeat, to Trance, R&B, Hip-hop,and feature traditional aboriginal vocalists from remote communities around Australia. Blended with the natural sounds of frogs, insects, native birds, and other organic sounds - the voices of the living planet .

Recently crystallising ideas that began as Didjibyte back in 2000, the emergence of The Web in 2005 is the didj-driven tribal dance grooves of Didjibyte, with culturally unifying vision , ecological foundation and indigenous collaboration.

The Web is an audio-visually engaging experience melting the boundaries between a technologically progressive 21st century culture and our ancient earth-based tribal roots. working under an ecological ethic inspired by community and nature

With 2 CD releases and over 40,000 albums sold independently, and numerous gigs around the country, The Web is an innovative performance experience. Don't miss this!
