'I too will tell you what I know' is a diverse sounding, yet coherent, six track EP. The Wild Frontier deliver mournful soul with 'The Owl', saccharine-sardonic-pop with 'Chicks Digs Hot Cars' and twisted country with 'Ghost of Your Past Summer'.

Album Notes

The Wildfrontier is a Sydney (Australia) based quartet that creates unique and quirky music. For their debut EP ‘I Too Will Tell You What I Know’, The Wildfrontier has blended influences from pop, country, rock and blues to produce a distinctive collection of six songs that demonstrates both the diversity and strength of their song writing.

‘I Too Will Tell You What I Know’ is a six track EP that tells stories filled with youthful experience in all its glorious naivety and earnestness. The EP covers a wide lyrical and musical spectrum from the multi-instrumental surf-pop of ‘Chicks Dig Hot Cars’ to the stripped bare blues-odyssey of ‘The Owl’.

Having produced many demos and home recordings The Wildfrontier sought to produce their debut EP in a studio that allowed for greater flexibility and quality than the trusty four-track, but also left intact their ‘organic’ and raw aesthetic. In mid-2006 they began recording at Stephen P. Holmes’ Floating Axe Studio located in the coastal town of Kiama, south of Sydney. Recording with Holmes proved to be a successful process and allowed for the band to hear their material through different ears and in a different space.
