The brand new Midwest four-piece, They Await, have created their debut EP, Moment of Eclipse, a collection of metal-influenced songs twisted into a dark soundscape of despair, hope, fear, destruction and rebirth. With influences ranging from metal and hardcore to goth and industrial, They Await's stylistically diverse songs are laden with melodic vocal textures, ground pounding guitar rhythms, punishing bass lines and atmospheric synthesizers.

Formed in 2004 by Jamie Mai, former guitarist for Hostility (Century Media) and Gulch, They Await began as a studio project and creative outlet and spiralled out of control and into a full-fledged band. Early in 2005 Spazz joined the group and added his powerful and melodic vocal talents and strange sense of humor. Spazz is a sound engineer by trade and has produced his own solo albums over the years. Bassist Jeff Butler, Formerly of Dieverge, Zerocell and Sluice has recently come onboard and brings his considerable talent and experience to the group.
