Marvelously fluid and exciting music - Masters at work!
author: Carl Max
This a masterwork of drumming from an excessively talented band. Your feet will absolutely love the dancing rhythms they create, and your heart will thank Thione and his very expressive band of fabulous musicians and singers for this marvelously fluid and exciting music. The Kora player is one of the best I've ever heard this side of Africa and together with the band, he brings alive the source of West African musical heritage in huge splashes of vibrant color -I seriously urge you to own a copy pronto!

The original rap! Check it out!
author: Kira Griffith
Sunu Africa is slammin. Two tracks feature Tassou the original Rap from which American freestyle Rap style is rooted. Masterful drumming mixed with the beautiful melodies of the Kora and Balafon are set against both gritty and melodic griot style vocals. Both raw and refined this record it is really something to check out.
