Album Notes

The Third Men are an Omaha band consisting of five diverse musicians raised on equal parts 70s FM radio and 80s underground psychedelia. Delivering terse, hook-laden songs at high volume, the band has quickly gathered a loyal following of power-pop connoisseurs over the course of its two-and-a-half year run. Fans of acts such as the Dream Syndicate, Todd Rundgren, Big Star and Badfinger will undoubtedly find something familiar yet refreshing in the group’s melodic, high-energy sound.

Anchored by former Sons Of… members and Omaha music scene mainstays Mike Tulis and Matt Rutledge, the band is rounded out by former Bent Scepters/Dangtrippers singer/guitarist Patrick White, keyboardist/percussionist Dana Rouch and former Faint/Commander Venus drummer Matt Bowen.
