In a world full of emotional pseudo punk featuring thunderous guitars and melodic vocal shrills of teen anguish; a breath of fresh air would include the foul stench of old-school punk rock. With this in mind, Thirteen Black has stormed into the scene featuring a raucous array of punk/metal influenced by everything and anything good.
Formed in mid 2003 by long-time partners in crime Justin Kase and DVN, Thirteen Black has quickly gained an impressive following by playing countless shows and distributing thousands of demo discs. This tireless work has landed them on bills that have included The Voodoo Glow Skulls and Total Chaos.
Their work has also landed them on the Arizona Punk Vol. 3 and Vol. 4 compilation discs, which were released in 2004 and 2005. This disc is consistently a top seller at record stores throughout Arizona. They were also honored as AZPUNK.COM ‘s artist of the month for April 2005.
Their debut disc, “Home Town Terrorists,” is a bold, 13-song statement that includes vocal guest appearances on two songs by Jason DeVore of Authority Zero. Don't be the last to be the first to pick up this disc.

this is a killer album. very impressive for a debut, no tin-can garage band sound here. this is definitely a big, first step in the right direction for this band. it's a real adrenaline pick-me-up. i recommend taking these angry bastards with you on your drive to work. they will wake you up like nothing on the radio can. definitely worth the few bucks.
