Contagious...Passionate...Real. Music fueled by nothing less than pure emotion.
From the Midwest comes a powerful brand of music fueled by nothing less than pure emotion. Lyrically capturing (the good and bad of) everyday life, all the while with an underlying feeling of hope. Sonically dual vocalists weave through contagious pop-laden melodies, over a wall of massive soul-shaking rhythm and driving guitars and beautiful keys. Riding the fine line between many sub-genres of rock (post hardcore, metal, punk-rock, Indie, alt-rock), while managing to stand out among the crowd by combining musical influences drawn from each member (from many musical styles), creating a sound that they are proud to call their very own.
Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, TDF was originally formed in the spring of 1998 as a result of several of Columbus top acts dissolving and reforming. Throughout the years the band has firsthand experienced the ups and downs of the music business world, working to no end (sacrifice upon sacrifice) in order to establish itself as a serious contender within the industry. The current lineup, comprised of brothers Will and Ken Newsome, Paul Cunningham and Joe Dameron, understand the importance of having the perfect chemistry. With everyone sharing the same vision and level of commitment everything feels to be in its right place...the time is now.
TDF is setting out to prove their worth within the music industry with a take no prisoners attitude. What many within the music industry have called, \"doing things that HARD WAY\", TDF simply feels to be the right way (by doing what many feel to be too risky). Whether listening to, or witnessing a live performance, its evident that TDF isn\'t looking to follow a trend...they are in the process of naturally creating their own.
Their latest CD \"First Impressions\" was laid down in December of 2007 at Spider Studios in Strongsville, Ohio. After touring the U.S. from coast to coast excessively 2 different times in 2008 out of their own pockets and doing everything themselves they learned what it takes to be successful in this industry. Most importantly staying humble and knowing they\'re doing what they set out to do... \"meeting new friends and making their current fans feel what they go through from day to day life\".
\"First Impressions\" is something they\'ve been waiting to get out there. A little bit of old and a lot of new! Everything from keyboard/guitar drivin\' songs that take you back to the Journey days to heavy rockin\' like the Foo Fighters and Linkin Park.

L000000000ve it! Great stuff, great music on every track. There isn't one song on the CD that I don't like. The instruments provide a wonderful back drop for absolutely superb vocals. Great CD, you won't be disappointed :)

I've been listening to this music non-stop for days. It just keeps getting better. Like movies that you find something new to love everytime you watch them, this is the musical equivalent. These songs make you "feel" them. I love this group!
