Album Notes

For the last couple of years, I've been performing for Unity churches on the East Coast. It has been a beautiful and inspiring experience. This is a collection featuring songs that I have shared with those fellowships and a few others.

It's not church music or gospel. Just my musings on the world or how I see it right now.

This CD makes me listening through a prisma of moods: very authentic!
author: Markus Lapke
The Song CALLING OUT can make me cry because LEA's performing involves and makes not only listening like somebody would look or stare at a wallpaper; A SONG FOR YOUR GUITAR is carried by an impressing fingerpicking that turns away the lyrics from being romanticly misunderstood. I love every song and its own mood as well as the whole conception and the definite line of this CD - and I am eager to bring this music home to my grandchildren... o.k, I'll have to take care of SHINE ON for some decades, but I'll do so :)

Getting So Much Better All the Time
author: Maura Greenman
I love the new CD. Lea's craft just seems to be getting better and better all the time. The guitar playing is gorgeous. I love how she blends the picking, the rhythms and tempos all together. I found myself drifting in and out of the song's stories, just to listen more intently to the music! The songwriting, of course, is fantastic. And her voice--so smooth, controlled and luscious. She smears the genre lines all up. I love that! I'm sure the upcoming one will be just as good, if not better--no pressure! ;)
