Album Notes

THIS LOVE AFFAIR have had an exciting year so far and things are set to go up a gear as one of the band\'s anthems is to be used on a film soundtrack.

The Birmingham-based group are one of ten unsigned bands from across the UK chosen for the soundtrack by Luton film-making company Jellyfielders. The punchy track, entitled \'Brothers and Sisters\', will feature on the company\'s latest film \'Legend of the Alleyman\', a horror movie based around an urban legend. The film is written by Chris Suffield, directed by Mike Jelves and produced by Lu Camish, and the soundtrack will be available in HMV shops across the country.

And if that wasn\'t enough, the four talented boys have also recently finished recording their third EP with Gavin Monaghan, who has worked with top artists such as Editors, Kings of Leon and The Twang. The brand-spanking new songs, \'Digital Age\', \'Ifs, Buts and Maybes\' , and \'Suicide\', were recorded at Magic Garden Studios, Wolverhampton, in July and once again demonstrate the tightness, creativity and passion with which This Love Affair go about music-making.

Lead singer Lee Weston, bass guitarist Andrew La Touche, and brothers Daniel (guitar/backing vocals) and Jayme Tovey (drums/backing vocals) joined forces in 2005 to create a new band from Lee and Andrew\'s \'8 Days Late\' and Jayme and Daniel\'s \'McAlister\'. Originally called \'Brite Lites\', the quartet generated a large Birmingham fan base and since transforming into \'This Love Affair\' earlier in the year, have been working hard touring the country to promote their sound.

Watching these lads live is something not to be missed, as their songs, which although already captivating on record, truly come to life on stage. Their knock-out shows, which are full of energy and passion, have a tendency of blowing the audience away.

This Love Affair is one of the UK\'s top up and coming bands, so keep your eyes peeled for more news on this group, which is set to take the record industry by storm.
