Album Notes

The Melted Reel is a musical project that celebrates the old. All things weathered, tattered, archaic, abandoned, and forgotten are represented by almost fifty minutes of prog tinged psychedelic pop.

The story is revealed through an eclectic collage of thrift shop organs, sun beaten cassettes, smooth vinyl samples, analog synthesizers, and found sounds.

Combining an accessible indie sound with a bombastic 70's art rock mentality, The Melted Reel is sure to please fans of Sparklehorse, Brian Eno, Radiohead, Gong, Modest Mouse, and Gentle Giant.
