Thomas Anderson is an unstoppable creative force who has survived Los Angeles and DreamWorks Publishing to return to the East Coast with his excellent debut CD, "Is This Love", the title track of which has been used in programming by MTV (8th and Ocean), ABC (Beautiful People), CBS (Shark), and is now being featured in promos for the much anticipated Lifetime TV Drama "Army Wives". Thomas Anderson has a large eclectic repertoire of original music. His songs have appeared in films and in television shows such as Roswell, Spin City, Boomtown, and Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. His music has also been featured on CD compilations such as the "ASCAP Ear" and others. In live performances he plays a mean guitar and sings from the heart. Thomas has played venues across the country from the Lincoln Center in New York City to The Sundance Film Festival in Utah. He has played in clubs and independent radio stations in a long and winding list of cities from Los Angeles to Vermont. Thomas has also won ASCAP's coveted Sammy Cahn lyricist award. He is currently recording music for film and television and is putting the finishing touches on his next CD, "Heavenly Days".
Meanwhile, Thomas Anderson's Debut CD "Is This Love" is now available. Included on the album is "Broken Heart", the song that helped Thomas win ASCAP's Sammy Cahn lyricist award.     Cruising down the interstate in my McLaren and listening to this song as the turbo is whinning away, lets my little car sing along as well. Everytime I hear this song as well as all of Tom's imaginative and very heartfelt composing, takes me back to a happier more peaceful place. As a child growing and maturing, all his songs are reminiscent of the past as well as present good times. Just as someone would sense a particular scent like Grandmas's cookies or hear a horse drawn sleigh with it's bells of comfort and joy, so do the songs that Tom has in there affects on my wife and I. Tom writes and records and brings the listener back to the good ol days of family, friends and all of there memories. After all.. "It's truely really all about love.

    Like many others, I first heard the song Is This Love by Thomas Anderson on Livetime's Army Wives. It took one preview of the show to make me fall in love with the lyrics. I searched and found the artist, and so far, I've loved every song by Thomas Anderson. As a poet & writer myself the lyrics of a song and the heart that releases from the singers voice is what makes a song worth listening to. After conversing with Thomas Anderson a few times through email, I found out it's his heart & soul that writes the lyrical poetry & his talent & heart that sing to our ears!     The only thing that I really have to say is WHY HAVEN'T YOU BEEN DISCOVERED YET! I absolutely fell in love with this song on Army Wives the moment that I heard it.     I found this CD because of the artwork. I thought it was clever and then when I listened to the title track, it made me think of summer on the beach. I listen to this CD over and over again. Thomas sounds a little like Bob Dylan in the title track and definetly has a rich voice. Great music. Strongly recommend to buy! You'll love it!

    Thomas Anderson has a cool, clean soft sound with deep soul. His music style is modern, yet reminiscent of the simple music sounds of the 60's including the Beatles. I'm sure everyone will enjoy his music, from smooth jazz fans to old and young teen rockers. I knew there was a sound I was missing and this was it.     The title track is not the only song to obsess over on this album. Every song is well-written and cliche-free (both lyric-wise and musically). This is a CD to listen to from beginning to end when you're driving at night with the windows down. The songs are atmospheric, a little off-kilter, and yet crystal clear.
