Interpreting non-idiomatic music is subjective. The solitary hunter, weary traveler, lonely lover and lost sailor have always sought a sign, a direction home, be it a halo around the moon, Polaris, or a bloody rose. The work of Thomas Kushin is a sliver of faint moonlight shining upon a treacherous, narrow trail, winding through corridors of time, capturing the omnipresent bathos of life.
