Album Notes

German guitarist Thomas Langer has created an interesting blend of jazz-fusion and music from around the world on his latest release. Langer, who has recorded with bassist Jeff Andrews, is a solid fusion soloist and he builds varied soundscapes on electric and acoustic guitars, augmented by his group which includes bass, percussion, keys, drums and accordion. "Something Left Unspoken" brings to mind some of Metheny and Pedro Aznar's work while the wah-wah leads on 'John Burgerhaus' are a fine example of his fusion blowing. David Dorkin, FUSE-Magazin USA 2000

The guitarist Thomas Langer (electric and acoustic guitar) plays
since autumn 2002 as a guitarist in the band of organist Barbara Dennerlein and toured with Ack van Rooyen, Aki Takase, Jeff Andrews and Bob
Mintzer, studied in Los Angeles (winning the 'outstanding stylist award `below 600 international students) and in New York and was in the January edition the magazine `Guitar & Bass` portrayed. With his own
Formation LANGER he published three of your own productions: 'where is
one? " 2004, `KALALAK` (1999) `and` LANGER (1997) on which he presents acoustic blues and jazz-oriented compositions with grooves and melodies
and folkinfluences . Frankfurter Rundschau (14.10.99) writes: `Langer plays so magnificently as early Volker Kriegel, Attila Zoller, or Pat Metheny.
