German guitarist Thomas Langer has created an interesting blend of jazz-fusion and music from around the world on his latest release. Langer, who has recorded with bassist Jeff Andrews, is a solid fusion soloist and he builds varied soundscapes on electric and acoustic guitars, augmented by his group which includes bass, percussion, keys, drums and trumpet.
