Album Notes

Atlanta singer-songwriter Thomas Oliver’s brand of country is what country music would have been if it hadn’t detoured through pop.
As with his first solo CD, \"Finally Over Losing My Mind,\" this CD is straight from the rich tradition of Southern music. The 12 songs here are from a writer who’s lived a life he doesn’t pretend has been perfect but one he knows has been blessed nevertheless.
\"Where You Are\" was tapped as one of Georgia Industry Music Association\'s Best of Country.
\"Audience of One\" is everybody\'s favorite -- especially the ladies.
If it\'s honky-tonk you like, listen to “Ms. Heartache.”
If you\'ve lost in love, then by all means listen to “Now, Like Then” or “Then I Remember.”
And if you want to hear what love is too often about these days, check out “Traveling Kind”-- we\'ve all been there -- or “Stolen Kisses,” a haunting story of a man who can\'t help himself.
And for a little fun toe-tapping check out \"Low-Down, Mean Dirty Blues.\"

There's something about this album that reminds me of George Strait. Great traditional country songs with strong lyrics and great production. If you like Honky-Tonk with a rockin tempo try Ms. Heartaches. My favorite is the heartfelt Audience Of One. Not a bad song in the bunch!! I get the feeling these songs are a result of living, loving and learning.
