Rev. Lawrence David Thomison, born in Nashville, TN began his gospel music journey while attending his grandmother's church at the tender age of seven. Even at that age, this shy lad was able to capture the church audience and usher in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Over the years he has made a major impact in the world of gospel music

Rev. Thomison became a recognized name and face in the gospel world with the Grammy Award nominated hit single "You've Been Good to Me" featuring the Music City Mass Choir, CD entitled "Never Let Go If His Hand" was played on radio stations across the world.

Rev. Thomison's latest release, "Deliverance Will Come" is the third CD release from Rev. Lawrence Thomison. This CD is truly a powerful testament to what God can do. This undertaking will prove to be one of Lawrence's most ambitious projects to date. Lawrence enjoys a periodic change in scene from his traditional gospel style with a more contemporary feel, and has the adaptability to pull it off. With the landscape and styles of gospel music changing ever so rapidly, there is something on this project for all of gospel's varied tastes.

Recorded live at Lawrence's hometown church, Temple Church in Nashville, TN, Deliverance Will Come captures all the energetic excitement of a Lawrence Thomison performance. Lawrence without protest admits that it was truly a memorable occasion. "My family and friends from across the U.S. came in support of me and this CD project. It was a magical evening..."

Lawrence chose a mixture of various gospel sounds to reflect the broad appeal he has with audiences around the world. He assembled musicians from Nashville and Memphis, TN. A 40-voice choir was also amassed from the greater Nashville area to provide the background vocals.

The CD is strong on vocal harmonies, melody, musicianship, and that good old down home gospel feel. The lyrics talk to you. The songs reflect thoughtful songwriting that explores the Good News of Jesus Christ.
