I had been on the spiritual path for over 30 years learning from many different teachers and healers, but hadn't written or performed music for years. During one of my spiritual journeys in 2005, I received a healing from John of God in Brazil. I literally woke up the next morning filled with inspiration from the healing and wrote this whole album in a few hours. New music continues to flow through me ever since and I continue to write and now perform my music regularly in different healing venues. The title,"garden of angels", not only refers to the little pousada (inn) I was staying at in Abadiania, Brazil when I wrote the music, but also to the healing center of John of God in Brazil called the Casa ,and all the wonderful spirits that work with him to perform the miraculous healings that go on there that have touched the lives of over a million people. In October of 2007, John of God came to Omega Institute in NY, and performed healings on several thousand people during a 4 day event. This album was sold there with part of the profits going to the Casa, and part of all future sales will continue to benefit the Casa. I also performed songs from this album at a concert during the event. I am deeply involved in the work of the Casa now. I was blessed to be able to direct the first current room for two days and assisted the many people who passed through for their healing from John of God and the entities. As for creating the album, it has been fun doing all the parts, including instruments and back-up harmonies. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed the process of having it come through me. Many blessings, Thom.
