Bronx based Artist Betsy Thomson is unusual. Daring. Eclectic. Her music is etheral and haunting,heart felt and poetic.

Thomson's following ranges from neo-bohemians to grammy award winning composers, folkies, lovers of avant garde, and those that love film score music. She has been compared to an angel on stage due to her 3 octave voice and other worldly sounds it has produced. Her performances are electric and live works of art.

Thomson who is a true visonary is a former professional actress and a true believer of cosmic forces and lifes mysteries--all of which influence her songwriting and performing. Thomson is also a professional psychic and healer. She has performed throughout the USA and in Europe. She played at the "Mend The Sacred Hoop" peace concert at Pineridge Reservation in South Dakota. Recently she has been interviewed on the BBC in Ireland where her cd was played throughout the UK, and Europe. It has also received airplay throughout the USA.

Thomson who is also a healer, has since 9/11 spent much of her time helping the FDNY cope and recover from their loss and pain. "The Firefighter Song" is a tribute to the 343 members of the FDNY who died on 9/11 and to firefighters everywhere. It is also for everyone to keep faith and hope alive for peace. The title track "Missions of the Mind" explores the mind that is trying to understand and define two worlds and realities... One focusing on romantic love and the other on heavens divine love and its guardians. "Wish" is simply a prayer sung for all beings.
