Album Notes

Ahh..the eighties... As President Reagan awoke each morning in the White House, she and her husband had a bird's eye view of the growing number of streetfolk staking out their piece of the great american park bench.
Punk had blown closed the doors of discoland, and a new guitar driven rock joined forces with an emerging home digital technology lighting up bedrooms and living rooms across the land, as every sound imaginable was presto fingertip.
The new wave post punk epidemic that swept through Los Angeles in the early eighties, had as its unofficial host, the legendary Madame Wong. In her clubs and many like it, tight black jean midnight crawlers played delay driven guitar as hordes of banglettes did the herky-jerky elbow danse to such bands as the immortal Knack, The Motels and later the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the Minutemen. Three Party System shared the stage with all the above.
With a head for (Police-like) guitar rocket rock, a nose for jukebox sing-along pop, and a palette for the occasional mystical foray to the mainstreams outer tributaries, Three Party System told of a world dangling over a sea of avarice, mixing wry tales arising from the ancient practice of nip and tuck mind alteration.

The Band:

Craig Manrique - Drums, Vocals, Chopstix

"These guys make you want to get out your pointed shoes and go do the 80's do"
D' Artagnon Poe ( Bassist Extraordinaire)

"Dig the textured, layered stuff on this album... provacative music, encapsulates the time."
Larry Treadwell (Guitarist Thomas Dolby)
