ThreePeace is enjoying tremendous success with their first release, "Empire of the Sun". The album was recorded in 2005 in the town of Empire, Michigan in the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. The bands sound is rooted in the Music of Classic Rock Bands such as The Police, U2 and Led Zeppelin, as well as a strong influence from the Reggae Rastaman himself Bob Marley. Recently this album has been featured on The Jammin'Reggae Archieves show at www.niceup.com with the Host Mike Pawka. Likewise, the band was also featured on KUAC in Fairbanks, Alaska and featured on the Round Midnight Riddims Show, with Host Alaska Jahn. This show was broadcast over about 20 repeater stations, which carried the signal into Russia. Likewise, ThreePeace has been featured on www.stingus.net, A Sting Fan news site in Europe. They are the feature Artists on groups influenced by Sting and The Police on the Stingus website. The band is currently in the studio working on their second album, "For the Love of the Rastaman", which will be released in Late Summer to Early Fall 2006. Thanks to all the ThreePeace fans who have made "Empire of the Sun" a tremendous success. Their Assholes song is a global smash and Party Favorite. The Band is from Michigan and can be seen live throughout the Great Lakes Region. ThreePeace stock is on the rise, as fans await the release of the new album later in 2006. Due to the bands baptism at Bob Marley's Grave in the Parrish of Nine Miles, Jamaica, the band claims this as their spirtual home. The bands birthrite lies in Michigan, USA. For the love of the rastaman
author: Crystal
Hey all. I met Three Peace online and entered to win one of their cd's. Amazingly I won! I received 'For the love of the rastaman'. I Love It!! I listen to it all the time (and of course, sing along) It's so peacefull and relaxing. It's really quite different from anything Ive heard before. It's a blend of rock and regae. It's hard to pick a favorite from the CD, but if I had to choose I would say 'Prince William Sound'. Listen and see if you like it as much as me....I know you will. :)

Empire of the Sun
author: Alaska Jahn 'Round Midnight Riddims Show
Living in Alaska Land of the Midnight Sun I instantly identified with the Empire of the Sun Cd. I love the raw emotion of Three Peace felt on the instrumental Threedom. The conscious lyrics and Reggae grooves on both One World / One God and Use What Jah Gives You (In A Good Way ) are classic. I look forward to playing the next Three Peace CD on Alaska Public Radio.
