Album Notes

Drink Hail!

Comprised of players Ariana Pellayle (Becky Cormier), Rosemary Quench (Rivka Levin), and Wicked Pete Speakeasy (Dolph Amick), Three Quarter Ale combines the lilting charm of 17th-century madrigals and traditional favorites with the high-energy impact of modern folk-rock for a truly arresting sound. The toast of the Georgia Renaissance Festival pub crowd, Three Quarter Ale's tempting blend of lively harp, flute, and guitar with delicious three-part vocal harmonies in turn uplifts, enchants, and makes listeners want to dance in their seats.

This cd was great. Thinks to the samples I knew what I was getting. I enjoyed all the songs and the comedy, except for the minute of silence which i didn't care for.

They Are A Portable Ren Faire

Being someone who works the ren faires and enjoyes good entertainment, I heard this group on a celtic podcast and loved their song the Two Magicians. So, I bought this CD and absolutely loved it. Their CD is a musical journey from their start to their end (I won't say what happens at the end so you enjoy the end of the cd. The ladies are absolutely beautiful in song and so is their male companion. You will definitely enjoy this CD if you like the ren faire or medieval music. A definite MUST BUY for your library.

Absolutely amazing. They work together so well and this CD is a fine example of how they interact to entertain and amaze. They truly take you elsewhere and make everything around you drop away as you listen. You'll tap and dance and laugh right through it. It was truly enjoyable to listen to. I heard some of it on one of the many podcasts that I subscribe to and it led me here and to buying this and other CDs as they are released. Would be awesome to see them live I think.
