Green Heat sounds like many things, but borrows from none. A breathtakingly original venture into rock/fusion, Thruster! never sounds mundane, directionless, or boring. From the cooler-than-you groove of "Pot Roast" to the heartbreaking chord progression of "Blossom," this disc is a must-have for fans of Ephel Duath, June of 44, King Crimson, Mahavishnu Orchestra, and any fan of any prog/fusion outfit anywhere.
