Green Heat sounds like many things, but borrows from none. A breathtakingly original venture into rock/fusion, Thruster! never sounds mundane, directionless, or boring. From the cooler-than-you groove of "Pot Roast" to the heartbreaking chord progression of "Blossom," this disc is a must-have for fans of Ephel Duath, June of 44, King Crimson, Mahavishnu Orchestra, and any fan of any prog/fusion outfit anywhere. This record is an avant garde guitar players dream!  This CD had all my house pets hiding under the furniture. If you like players like Jim Campilango, Mike Stern, John Scofield or Mr. Bungle, you will love this record.
