Album Notes

Thunder Rider has composed quite an extensive repertoire of songs based on the belief that a true attempt at originality and versatility will be their key to success.

The operatic vocal style, the soaring melodic and lightning guitar leads, the haunting orchestral keyboards, the angelic female back up vocals, accompanied by the thunderous combination of bass and drums, generate all the electricity required to power Thunder Rider.

Being a truly imaginative group, they have conceived a concept to rule their music, lyrics and stage show. At this time, this band of musicians is ready to take the world by storm.

Thunder Rider is currently experiencing global critical acclaim of their latest recording, Thunder Rider Tales of Darkness and Light - Chapter II, and is proud to be selling their music all over the world despite the fact that they are an independent and unsigned project.

Thunder Rider is currently made up of three of the original members of the band, John Blackwing, Pat Hammer and Bruce Corian accompanied by long time keyboardist Roberto Deus and keyboardist/bassist Luc Dufresne.

The latest to join the project is bassist Bryan Clarke and back up singers Nathalie Dauphin and Nathalie Lacourse.

The Epic Return
author: Daniel Cozzuol
This album is amazing. It's very close in style to their debut of the same name (minues the II), but somehow I think this album is even better. If you're a fan of old school epic metal like Cirith Ungol, Manilla Road and Manowar chances are you will worship this album. The vocals remind me of Deathmaster from Doomsword at times.

The Masterpiece !!
author: FRANCESCO DEMARCHI
After an almost two decade absence TR return with their masterpiece. The band has a unique, epic and classic metal sound that dabbles in doom metal in the tradition of Cirith Ungol, Omen or earl Fates Warning."Thy Kingdom Come" opens the CD with a triumphant and epic refrain."Holy Terror" is a killer track that reminds without disfigure the arcane legends of US metal.John Blackwing, with his evocative voice, rules in "Satan Wrath". But the true masterpiece track is "Heavy Metal Wizzard": this is the 2000 epic metal hymn with the glorious chorus, the martial drums and the "fulminant" guitars refrains. At last "Day of the Damned" is a suite that summarizes all the TD musical elements. This group is worth big care in the musical worldwide survey. I hope to hear the next TD Cd before others sixteen years !!
